  1. To download Internet Explorer 9, click on :

  2. On the File Download dialog box, you can either run the installer or save it on your machine. I will be clicking Run
  3. Download will begins
  4. If you have the User Account Control enabled, then a dialog box will open asking you if you want to allow the following program to make changes to this computer, click Yes
  5. The Install Internet Explorer 9 dialog box will open, click on Install
  6. Installing Internet Explorer 9 will start
  7. Once installation is completed, you will be requested to restart your machine to apply the changes.
  8. Once you restart your machine, open Internet Explorer 9 , and you will discover the new interface .

Pined Sites : Now you can pin any website to your task bar, this can be done either by :

  • You can drag the website icon (mostly on the left side of the website address) to the taskbar.
  • Or You can drag the website tab itself to the taskbar.
    as you can see in the below snapshots , I have pinned ELMAJDAL.NET to my taskbar.


Design and User Interface: The first thing you will notice about IE9, is its new user interface and design. More of the website can been seen now. For example, previously I used to press F11 and go into full mode to see more. Also You can find most command bar functions, like Print or Zoom, when you click the Tools button . Enjoy the new simplified design.
